BID continues to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19 and we want to assure you that the safety of our service users, staff teams and volunteers is of the utmost importance to us.

As with most organisations, we have been closely following the advice and guidance issued by the Government and our Senior Management Team is meeting daily to implement our response plan around the Coronavirus outbreak.

At this time, we are reviewing all of our services and identifying which people are at most risk and the measures we need to take to reduce risks to health. With social distancing being advised, this will inevitably mean that we will have to adapt services and to look for ways we can deliver support in a different way, such as by using technology to communicate with people.

At the moment, all of our services remain open but this is a rapidly changing situation and we will be reviewing this on a daily basis, responding to Government updates and advice. We want you to know that we are doing everything we can to minimise disruption but in the face of this unprecedented situation, it may be necessary to close our buildings in the days ahead, which will inevitably result in changes in service delivery.

We remain committed to supporting our service users, staff teams and volunteers and will resume normal services as quickly as we can, when it is safe to do so.

We will keep you up to date with the latest information on our social media and web pages. If you have any urgent concerns, then please get in touch with us at info@bid.org.uk
